Singing
Focusing on making singing easy and enjoyable, and assisting students to create a free, resonant tone with no stress or strain. Both Mark and Sarah are formally trained with extensive experience in a variety of vocal styles from classical to contemporary commercial music.
Acting
Equipping students with the foundational skills of acting in both stage and/or screen. Teachings are based on The Stanislavski method
Instrumental
Lessons focus on a balanced approach of following a structured workbook, with fun complementary creative elements like learning a pop song or writing a song.
Suitable for all ages
Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced singer/actor or musician, if you want to improve your skills, or polish an audition/performance piece or just build confidence in an one on one setting, then ongoing private lessons are for you!
Mark and Sarah’s approach to teaching is student-centred, believing performing arts lessons should be enjoyable and holistic, building confidence and self-belief.
Every student is unique, whether an absolute beginner or advanced, and lessons are personalised to fit the goals and aspirations of the student. They are vocal health advocates who are able to help people understand and reach excellence, in a variety of performing arts disciplines. Mark and Sarah continue to upskill as performing arts educators by attending conferences and workshops, at home and abroad.
Mark and Sarah have guided students through exams, Eisteddfods, HSC and Audition preparation, as well as Music Theory and Aural lessons. Some students have gone on to make a career in Performing Arts, appearing in TV/Film, Professional Musicals, working as soloist artists or in bands.
